Using  modern and traditional couching cords such as gold twist, T71, rococco and a general couching cord.  padded and applied leather work gives different dimensions for the light to catch, whilst cut purls and check, sequin waste, sequins and beads will infill the design adding texture and interest to the design.

You will need a 12″ wooden embroidery hoop {not included] to work the embroidery and a small amount of gold metallic acrylic paint.
