I had a LOVLEY day teaching this workshop yesterday. The ladies were very susceptible to the idea of workng on flexible PVC. We laid organza strips between two sheets of plastic and freemotion stitched and decorated them, laminating them together to make the bag panels then we stamped flower shapes in acrylic paint on to the surplus PVC and machine embellished them to use as decoration once the bag was assembled.
